Welcome to Améline. By accessing and using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before registering or placing a bid.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to register and participate in auctions on Améline. By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.

2. Bidding

All bids placed on Améline are legally binding. Once a bid is placed it cannot be retracted. By placing a bid you agree to purchase the item at that price if you are the winning bidder. Améline reserves the right to cancel bids or suspend accounts in cases of suspected fraud or misuse.

3. Buy Now

The Buy Now price allows you to purchase a listed item immediately at a fixed price, bypassing the auction process. Buy Now purchases are final and non-refundable unless the item is materially different from its description.

4. Payment

Winning bidders will receive an email with payment instructions. Payment is due within 48 hours of auction close. We accept major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Failure to pay within the stipulated period may result in account suspension and the lot being re-listed.

5. Authenticity and Provenance

Every piece listed on Améline has been individually reviewed. We work with certified gemologists and trusted estates. Authenticity certificates and provenance documentation are available on request for all lots.

6. Shipping

All pieces are shipped fully insured in secure, discreet packaging. Delivery timelines and costs are confirmed at checkout based on your location. Risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon dispatch.

7. Returns

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery if the item is materially different from its description. Items must be returned in original condition. Contact hello@ameline.com to initiate a return.

8. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Bidder identities are anonymized in public bid histories unless you choose to display your name.

9. Limitation of Liability

Améline acts as an intermediary between buyers and sellers. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
